Metalstorm: Aces is the second edition of Metalstorm: Online.
The game is more focused on storymode and is more realistic.
It is needed to unlock the MV-23 Warlord (Limited time only).
Story
The story is that you are an Markovian amateur fighter pilot who prepares to go to war. In the tutorial an Ace called Thelonius watches you fight and says you have a lot of talent. Then you go to war and the Aces turn against you and your teammates. You manage to survive and seek revenge on all the Aces.
Differences from MetalStorm: Online
- In Aces you can see your speed and missile lock is longer.
- In Aces you must aim exactly on the plane to hit it while firing. In Online you must shoot in front of the enemy plane to hit it.
- There are no special categories in aces, in aces there is engine, missles, etc
However in online there is a weapons, Agility, and defence. Also in aces you have actual stats.
- You can shoot down missiles.
- 2v2 Versus mode
